Background Dr. Esimike Uchebuike Roland was born on the 20th of November, 1966 and hails from Obiaruku in Ukwuani Local Government of Delta State. He attended Auchi Polytechnic and bagged O.N.D (General Art) in 1988, B.A (Hons) Painting from University of Benin with a 2nd Class Honours, Upper Division, in 1992. He further obtained M.F.A. (Painting), M.A (Art History) and Ph.D. in Studio Art (Painting) from Delta State University, Abraka in 2002, 2008 and 2015 respectively. He has published several articles in reputable journal, both internationally and locally with several exhibitions to his credit. Currently, he works with University of Delta, Agbor in the Fine and Applied Arts Department where he is a senior lecturer in painting. He is married with children
