Background Dr. Emmanuel, O. Isiboge was born in Oghara-Eki town to Mr. Felix, I. Isiboge of Orogun town, Ughelli North and Mrs. Margaret, O. Isiboge of Umukwata town, Ukwuani, Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria respectively. He had his primary education at Lucas Vale Primary School, London in 1968 till 1971. His post primary education was at Samuel Pepys Boys Secondary Comprehensive School, London from 1971 to 1975 and Orogun Grammar School, Orogun, 1975 to 1979, Delta State. He obtained his National Certificate in Education N.C.E. specializing with double major in Sculpture and Painting College of Education, Ekhiadolor, Benin City in 1984. Furthering his education, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts B.A. (Ed) in Fine and Applied Arts Degree specializing in Sculpture from Delta State University, Abraka in1993. Also, he holds a Master of Fine Art (MFA) and Doctorate Degrees (Ph.D) in Studio Art (Sculpture), Delta State University, Abraka 2009 and 2021 respectively. He taught Fine Art at Ebedei Secondary school, Ukwuani, Delta State 2010 to 2013, and later joined the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, lecturing Sculpture in the defunct College of education, Agbor from 2013 to 2021. Presently, he is employed and lectures Sculpture in the Department of Fine and Applied Arts in the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, University of Delta, Agbor. He is a member of, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN); Society of Nigerian Artists (SNA) and Sculptors Association of Nigeria (ScAN).
